Welcome Back

The St. Peter’s group enjoyed their visit very much to Scotland and to St. Matthew’s Academy.  They arrived back in Mzuzu after a very long journey.  The group flew from Scotland to Amsterdam then having missed their connection flight to Nairobi, they flew back over the Channel to Heathrow, England before proceeding to Nairobi , then onto Malawi.  Despite the long journey, the students were delighted to have the opportunity to see Heathrow which they had heard about from friends; they were not disappointed.

Tired, but happy to share a few stories of Scotland.
Everyone enjoyed their visit to Scotland and they have expressed deep gratitude to their host families and St. Matthew’s Academy for giving them a warm welcome and looking after them very, very well.  They spoke of the kindness of everyone they met in Scotland; now they have many, many Scottish friends which they hope they will met again in the future…perhaps here in Malawi?

The students marvelled at the facilities in St. Matthew’s Academy and they recalled the interesting visits they encountered at the primary schools, especially all the good questions from the pupils. The group enjoyed every activity on the programme especially experiencing Snow Zone and the football match.  A couple of the group managed to travel to Blantyre to see the David Livingstone Centre which they very much appreciated because he is viewed as a very important person in the history of Malawi.

This week each member of the group’s thoughts will published on St. Peter’s Blog so check out:- stpeterssecondarymzuzu.blogspot.com

Reunion to remember the wonderful times in Scotland.
